Scott Werfal

Scott Werfal began his career in education teaching Physical Education at Winneconne High School. After a brief time away from education, Mr. Werfal continued his career in education teaching Physical Education and Health Education at St. John’s Nepomucene in Little Chute Wisconsin. Following three years at St. John’s, he accepted a job at St. Mary Central High School as Associate Principal and Activities Director. Two years later Mr. Werfal accepted a position at Clintonville High School, also as an Associate Principal and Activities Director. After one year at Clintonville High School Mr. Werfal accepted the Clintonville Middle School Principal position where he worked for three years.  

In 2017 Mr. Werfal accepted the Principal position at Wilson Middle School. He has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University, and he earned his Bachelors Degree in Education from Winona State University. During Mr. Werfal’s career in Education he has also served as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Assistant Football Coach, and Head Football Coach. Mr. Werfal has three children, all attending Appleton schools, and his wife, Amanda, is a teacher in the Menasha Joint School District.

Debra Moreland

Deb Moreland is the Associate Principal of Wilson and Principal of Magellan middle schools. She began her career in education as a 6th grade teacher at Odyssey Elementary, where she co-led its startup and taught for 10 years. 

Ms. Moreland earned her Master in Educational Leadership and Administration from UW-Madison and her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in math from UW-Oshkosh.
